In my first book I have a crazy man make a prophecy to Merlin. This prophecy encompasses the major events of my entire series of six books.<\/p>\n
Here is the prophecy:<\/p>\n
\nSeventy years—have flown and wore
\nSince Dragon Star—fell on the moor.
\nThen I was young—and knew not score,
\nBut father he—passed on the lore.<\/p>\nI will not see—this strange tale spend,
\nNor see it twist—waylay and wend.
\nBut though you grieve—and cannot mend,
\nYet you will see—the utter end.<\/p>\nAfresh it cuts—dagger death frown,
\nMake victims in—their red blood drown.
\nThe gory past—comes back aroun’,
\nAnd this bright world—turns upside down.<\/p>\nThe cock will crow—to moon and soar,
\nThe mouse in fear—brings forth a roar,
\nThe anvil strikes—the hammer tor,
\nAnd boar be caught—by apple core.<\/p>\nThe white tomb of—bear’s winter sleep
\nBrings forth the dead—from cavern deep.
\nThe evil foes—come out and creep
\nDrive forth the hawk—to danger keep.<\/p>\nSo grave will gaze—from its pale bed
\nAs ash will birth—the icy dead.
\nThe wren so young—with darken’d head,
\nWill caw death chant—and evil wed.<\/p>\nUpon high hill—in fortress fast,
\nYou’ll dread you did—not heed the past.
\nLand of all night—hold on to mast,
\nFor altar’s foe—trust Christ at last.<\/p>\nEagle will fly—with talon free,
\n‘Gainst hoary swell—of peoples be.
\nAll things will lose—and dead the tree,
\nLest wisdom to—he bend the knee.<\/p>\nThe beast will rise—from secret place,
\nAll men will flee—to mountain trace.
\nHell dog will dark—the sun’s bright face,
\nTill sword and spear—with prayer grace.<\/p>\nThe beast will bring—forth fetid birth,
\nAnd eagle scratch—and prove its worth.
\nBut land will not—have new it’s mirth,
\nTill red-leg crow—be brought to earth.<\/p>\nFor all must seek—and prize the pure,
\nThat will be lost—in bleak azure.
\nGo find and seek—but ware the lure,
\nTake narrow way—when none is sure.<\/p>\nAnd in the end—death’s head will rise,
\nKill, take, covet—fill ears with lies.
\nPure love will doubt—take all as guise,
\nEre noble one—gives up his prize.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\nIn my book I include poetry and things like this here and there. <\/p>\n
And no, I’m not going to explain it here. The Lord willing, as the books come out I will explain things if people ask, but not until then.<\/p>\n
