{"id":6254,"date":"2008-05-28T14:46:23","date_gmt":"2008-05-28T19:46:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epictales.org\/treskillard\/2008\/05\/28\/draft_1_predicted_finish_in_sight\/"},"modified":"2008-05-28T14:46:23","modified_gmt":"2008-05-28T19:46:23","slug":"draft_1_predicted_finish_in_sight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.epictales.org\/treskillard\/2008\/05\/28\/draft_1_predicted_finish_in_sight\/","title":{"rendered":"The Benefits Of A Writing Log"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Back on January 3rd <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epictales.org\/treskillard\/using_a_writing_log_to_motivate\">I wrote a post<\/a><\/strong> about how I had begun logging the number of words I write each day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>And in that post<\/strong>, my predicted finish was <strong>May 26<\/strong>, which was two days ago.<\/p>\n<p><strong>So how have I done?<\/strong>  Did I keep up my word count?  At that time I predicted I would be done on that date if I wrote 420 words each day, and to date, <strong>I have averaged 446<\/strong>!  <\/p>\n<p><strong>But I&#8217;m still not done.<\/strong>  I am at 95% complete, with a predicted finish of June 11th.  <strong>Only 2 weeks away!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Why did I not make the date<\/strong> if I kept up my word count, and even went beyond?  My plot has grown some, and that has pushed it out.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HOWEVER &#8230; and this is the big news:<\/strong>  I am now in the middle of the FINAL chapter &#8230; <em>the most exciting part of the entire book<\/em>!
