It had been 22 days without water in the house, and we learned a lot of lessons.<\/p>\n<p><strong>One of those lessons was to really celebrate Advent.<\/strong>  Ever since we were married, my wife and I have celebrated Advent, but last year we had a different perspective as the whole family went without the convenience of running water. It gave us a renewed sense of thankfulness for all the blessings we have.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The amazing thing is that God brought to our attention<\/strong> a godly movement called &#8220;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.adventconspiracy.org\/\">The Advent Conspiracy<\/a><\/strong>&#8220;. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What is it about?<\/strong> It is about spending less money on ourselves and more for those that are suffering around the world. In particular, the Advent Conspiracy encourages people to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Worship Fully<\/li>\n<li>Spend Less<\/li>\n<li>Give More<\/li>\n<li>Love All<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>As part of this, they encourage people to give money toward ministries that help provide clean water<\/strong> for poor communities around the world. <\/p>\n<p><em>Yes, Advent and water.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wow.<\/strong>  God was really speaking to us.
