Fest of nations performance went very well! :>>
Now i am practicing REALLY hard for Irish Fest, the next performance…

so basically my family band has three performmances comin’ up! + a busy schedule 
the performances + busy schedule = Uh-oh 
our first is a at fest of nations tower grave park MO this saturday - 2nd is Irish fest St. Charles MO 2 weeks from fest of nations - 3rd is Scottish games 2 weeks from irish fest… so yeah…

Here is a sample of my book! 
As Connor walked down the hall towards his classroom he noticed his shoe-lace was untied. As he bent down to tie it he ran slap bang into the girl from the school bus. They tumbled into a heap, the girl landing awkwardly on Connor. They picked themselves up and brushed off their cloths because the hall was dusty. “Err… Hello” said Connor.
“Hello, how are you? What’s your name? I’m Kelly.” said the girl.
“I’m good, My name’s Connor, Pleased to meet you.” Connor extended his hand. Kelly shook it vigorously. Wow! Connor thought, she has a very strong grip!
“What’s your first class?” asked Kelly.
“Science.”
“Cool, me too, Shall we walk together?” she asked.
“Ummmm……. Sure.” They walked off down the hall with Kelly chatting the whole time.

As Connor walked into his algebra class he didn’t recognize his teacher. This teacher was a tall thin young lady. Strange, she doesn’t look much older than Kelly, we hardly ever have young teachers, especially not girls! Well they must have changed teachers, after all it is the first day of school.
A voice startled Connor out of his thoughts.
“Students take your seats please.”
Connor looked around and realized he was the only student standing.
“Please take your seat lad,” the voice said again.
As Connor looked at his watch it suddenly dawned on him that he had been standing there for a long time. “Sorry ma’am,” Connor replied, while taking his seat next to Kelly.
“You all right lad? You were standing there for 5 minutes.” said the teacher.
“Uh… I’m good.” Connor said, looking sheepish.
“Just making sure lad,” the teacher replied. “Now, let me introduce myself, I am Briana but you may call me Miss Torrance. You will all come up to my desk one by one, starting in the front line and tell me your name.”

The first day of school went by like a flash for Connor. Miss Torrance was very nice. Possibly the best teacher I’ve ever had, thought Connor. He only saw Holly at lunch and in the bus that day before they got home. In the bus ride home Connor and Peter discussed what they would do the following Saturday
“Do ya think you could come over? Peter asked .
“Hmmmmm… I’ll have to ask my parents.”
“OK, because me and Kelly have something important to tell you and Holly.”
“What?!” Connor asked eagerly.
“You’ll have to wait and see,” replied Peter with a smirk.

Well… today I was outside with Adele, and I wanted to look at my garden bed… so as I was going up to the garden I (fortunately) happened to be looking closly at the ground. and as I was looking I noticed a lump that looked like a little mound of dirt but it had a turtle shell pattern on it. I was very excited so I calle Leighton and he carried the tiny baby turtle to the patio.
So i went and got a cage that we usually use for frogs and we put the little turtle in it. And btw, this turtle had a shell only a little bigger that a quarter. Now here are some pictures of me holding it, my Dad holding it and just the turtle.
This last picture shows the turtle having hid inside a little house I made out of a cardboard tube from a paper towel roll. It really likes that little house! (and it’s water dish!)

Here’s a poem about a rainy day guys
The Rainy Day
When I went out on a rainy day,
As rain pattered on my umbrella,
I felt that i just had to stay,
The streams were running clear & full,
But as i went along the bank i found… guess what!
A great big hole!
So I stripped off my coat,
And I dove in,
With out even a thought of a boat,
It was cold and slimy down there,
There was even a few frogs,
But i didn’t care,
As i climbed back out,
I was all wet,
But I didn’t pout,
I dripped back inside,
I opened the door,
My mom forgot to chide,
And got me a towel,
it was warm and dry,
And it wiped off the water so foul,
I had some dinner,
And went to bed,
And I was the winner!

I think that the Easter bunny is a very bad and silly tradition IF it is instead of celebrating Christ’s death and resurrection.
1. Where in the bible does it mention that we should have lots of candy and only think of our tongues on Easter?
2. Where in the bible does it say to celebrate with tons of candy and chocolate on Easter?
3. Where in the bible does it say that Easter egg hunts are supposed to be on easter?
Fine, do this stuff any other time! but NOT on Easter! Easter is when Jesus DIED! he DIED for YOUR sins! He didn’t die for your candy! He didn’t DIE so you could feast on candy and make yourself sick! He died so YOU could be saved! Not so your candy could be saved!
Go on, search the bible, try to prove me wrong! but you can’t. there are obvious facts that everyone ignores. everyone just doesn’t want them to exist. they want to just have fun and think of themselves and gobble candy on Easter. they don’t think about the incredible pain Jesus went through. Would you go through that all for your candy? No, you wouldn’t.
I pray that Jesus would make me able to go through the pain that he went through to be with him if I had to. Would you go through that pain to be with Jesus? test yourself. what if you were going to die for your faith, and you had to make the decision of going through what Jesus went through and going to Heaven or Living a luxurious life and going to Hell? what would you choose?
God is sovereign over all and he controls our very tiniest actions.
